Important!

There will be no Royal Agricultural Show in 2025

As the Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) finalises its relocation from its premises of 122 years and we get our new home ready for you, we will be taking a break to plan new Royal Agricultural Show for 2026.

There will be no Royal Agricultural Show in 2025.

For the remainder of 2025, a “Royal Roadshow” will take place, as a way to consult with sheep farmers to strengthen the RAS’s  ties with them ahead of our 175th anniversary in 2026.

Informed by this consultation process, the Royal Carcass Competition will be able to return in full force in 2026 for our special 175th anniversary show, stronger than ever.

The Royal Carcass Competition culminates in the Royal Carcass Auction at each year’s Royal Show.

It is a splendid occasion for buyers, butchers and restaurants to compete for lamb, beef and pork, judged to be the best in the country.

It is also an opportunity for winning breeders and bidders to capitalise on the exposure and publicity this brings to their establishments.

The Royal Carcass Competition and Auction will return in 2026.
