The KZN Youth Show celebrates 40 years

For four decades, the KZN Youth Show has been cultivating the next generation of farmers, giving them a platform to showcase their skills, and rewarding their tireless efforts throughout the year.

This event has become an integral part of the Royal Show, and this year marks its momentous 40th anniversary.

From Friday 26 May to Sunday 28 May, the KZN Youth Show will host eight competitive classes, including beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, pigeons, and auctioneering. Participants will be tested on their animal preparation, showmanship, and knowledge, with adult assistance during the competitions strictly forbidden.

The classes are divided into Junior Junior (under 10 years), Junior (under 14 years), and Senior (under 18 years), ensuring that each participant competes with their peers. This competition provides a unique opportunity for aspiring farmers to hone their skills and gain valuable recognition.

Don't miss your chance to enter this exciting event. Contact admin@kznyouthshow.co.za for further information on how to participate.
